Lucca Rodriguez sees art as a bridge between the tangible and the intangible — a way of capturing what slips through language. But the work itself doesn't slip. It's rustic, brut, visceral. Made with the hands and left with the marks. Honest in the way only paint on a surface can be.
Touchable. Real. Imperfection and chaos, exploration and mistake. At a time when people have forgotten to draw by hand, the connection to painting and real materials feels more urgent than ever. We are disappearing without saying goodbye — and this work refuses to go quietly.
