My work with blue tape as an artistic medium is deeply rooted in my fascination with the emotional and symbolic power of the color blue. Inspired by the boldness of Henri Matisse and the introspection of Pablo Picasso, I’ve chosen to explore this color in a contemporary and unconventional way. Blue tape, often seen as a utilitarian material, becomes my tool for storytelling, structure, and expression
Blue Girl 2024
80 x 45 cm
Acrylic and oil pastel, stencil, and mixed technique.
In this piece, you’re met with a rush of color and emotion—a raw, abstract composition that feels both deliberate and instinctive. The artist builds the background with textured layers of blue, red, and white, creating a sense of movement and energy that pulses through the canvas. Over this, figures appear—loosely drawn in black, white, and red—cartoonish, skeletal, almost like fragments of memory or emotion made visible.
There’s a certain chaos at play here, but it’s not without purpose. Scribbled text like "BLA BLA BLA" breaks through the surface, adding a layer of commentary—perhaps a critique of empty talk or the noise of everyday life. The date “2021” grounds the piece in a moment of global turbulence, while the phrase "light art" suggests a contrast or deeper exploration: illumination not just as light, but as insight, expression, or clarity amidst disorder.
It’s a piece that doesn’t just ask to be viewed—it demands to be felt.

Slave Man from Uruguay
This striking painting embodies the rich heritage and poignant history of Uruguay, capturing the essence of resilience and strength through the figure of a slave man. Dominated by vibrant yellow hues, the artwork radiates warmth and energy, symbolizing hope amidst sorrow.
The bold strokes of yellow reflect not just the sun-soaked landscapes of Uruguay but also the vibrancy of its cultural tapestry. The figures are portrayed with dynamic lines and textures, creating a sense of movement that draws the viewer into the narrative. The contrast of deep shadows against the striking yellow elevates the man’s form, emphasizing his tenacity and spirit despite the burdens of his past.
Ambient whispers of other colors subtly interweave within the yellow, hinting at untold stories and the complexity of identity. This painting evokes a powerful emotional response, inviting the viewer to reflect on the historical context while celebrating the enduring beauty of the human spirit.
"Slave Man from Uruguay" stands as a testament to the idea that beauty can arise from chaos, making it a compelling addition to any collection.
